Be Our Guest: Magic Kingdom Park - Fantasyland

Updated: September 2023

Be Our Guest is a signature dining experience in Magic Kingdom located in Fantasyland at Beast castle. This is a Signature Dining experience that includes ONE character, Beast. In the past, there used to be a photo opportunity you could take with the Beast or Belle, but that is no longer the case.

This dining experience is loud because of the size of the dining halls. You have three different rooms that you can dine in. The main area is The Castle Ballroom, located in the center of the castle, and the entrance for all guests coming to Beast Castle.

Additional rooms include The Castle gallery, a quieter dining experience than the main hall, and we ate in this room back in 2018 when it was still a quick-service restaurant.

On the opposite side of the building is the West Wing, which can be pretty dark. If you have little children with you, I would suggest not sitting in that room because it can feel scary. However, after your dining experience, you'll have the opportunity to tour all the rooms, so you can wait until then to see them. Definitely take a tour of the different rooms because the detail in each room is truly enchanting.

Let's talk about the Beast. The Beast is present and walks around the room, and he waves at everyone, and that's it. No pictures, no signatures. He just says hello. This dining hall is far too large for him to meet and greet at every table. The likelihood of getting that standing pose shot is pretty slim. He will try to wave and keep moving.

The most significant improvement in this dining experience is the food. When we first went to Be Our Guest, it was a quick-service restaurant, and we thought the food was nothing special. However, this time going back, it was our favorite dining experience for the entire trip. Be sure to check the menu as I stay with every dining experience because you want to ensure you like the food on the menu because each restaurant has limited options.

The girls got the iceberg wedge salad with ranch and a fruit and cheese plate, and for their main course, they got the pan-seared chicken with rice and veggies. Finally, our Disney Infants got a side of mashed potatoes and could eat off our plates.

I had lobster bisque, which is currently not on the menu, so I wonder if it's a rotating item, but it was delicious. We also were given a cheese and meat plate. Then for entrees, I am still trying to figure out what I got! my best friend and I cannot figure out what we had because it doesn't look like anything currently on the menu, but I'll tell you, it was delicious. Finally, the boys both had the center-cut filet mignon.

On this trip, there were 11 of us, so we were seated at two tables next to each other. Unfortunately, the boy's table didn't capture one thing they ate because they were so hungry, and it was delicious.

All the kids got a paint-your-own chip cup, and they loved it. As the adults, you were giving a dessert trio, and as dessert goes, there's one that I don't there isn't a dessert I don't love. And that was no different for this dining experience.

Be Our Guest is a pricier dining experience, $67 per adult, ages ten and up, and $39 for children 3 to 9 years old.

If I were to do this dining experience again, I would do it for dinner. This meal was pretty heavy, and we went back to the resort to rest afterward since we all were stuffed.

But as far as experiences, it was a great experience. Remember, it is a loud dining experience. There are no characters that are going to come and sign autographs for you. But you get to explore all three rooms, which is fun, and the food is terrific. Check out the menu here.
