Disney's Military Salute Park Tickets

It's that time of year when military families sit on the edge of their seats waiting to find out the nearest discount for Disney military salute tickets. Pre-Pandemic release dates were always around September, but this year we have delayed until mid-November to find out the current discounts. 

What's new this year? Blackout dates! Here are the valid admission dates for your four or 5-day park hopper, good for visits January 1, 2023, through December 15, 2023,  blocking out: April 2, 2023, through April 15, 2023 (Easter Season) and November 19, 2023, through November 25, 2023 (Thanksgiving).

The last half of December has always been blocked out. But the best part of Disney Military Salute tickets is that they are good for the entire year!

Who Qualifies:

"Eligible Service Members" are active or retired members of the U.S. Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Spouses of Military Service Members also qualify if they can present valid and active U.S. Military I.D.s in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps Members" - Direct from the Disney Website.

  • Current Military Members

  • Retired Military Members

  • Honorably discharged veterans with 100% Permanent Service-connected disability.

  • Current and Retired Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Corps.

  • Military personnel of foreign nations and their immediate family members, when assigned or attached to a U.S. military unit or installation.

  • Un-remarried surviving spouses of personnel who died while on active duty or while in retired status

  • Un-remarried former spouses who were married to military members for at least 20 years while the military member was on active duty

What do you need/where do you get the tickets:  

Disney tickets are sold at Military Resellers, Base Ticket Offices, and Shades of Green Resort. I always call the nearest MWR to order my tickets and have them sent via FedEx, or I will stop by the nearest base with an MWR office to purchase them. 

Ticket Activation: 

Disney Military Salute tickets must be activated by the service member at Disney Springs at the Ticket office. Don't forget that while you are there to activate your Photopass, qualifying military members get Photopass at a discounted rate of $98.

The Ticket Office location is between the Lime and Orange garage, and if you are taking Disney transportation, the buses will drop you off right in front of that location.

Every year each service member can receive 6 Disney Military Salute tickets. If you have more direct dependents (Meaning children), you can get additional tickets from your MWR.

5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

Purchase now through December 11, 2023.

  • With the Park Hopper Option: $369 plus tax

  • With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $399 plus tax

4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket

Purchase now through December 12, 2023.

  • With the Park Hopper Option: $349 plus tax

  • With the Park Hopper Plus Option: $379 plus tax

What is Park Hopper Plus, and why should you get it if you head to Walt Disney World often:

My family spends numerous days a year at Walt Disney World, squeezing vacations on long holiday weekends and summer breaks. Therefore, we always purchase the five-day park hopper plus option. Since we go so often, we do not always head to the four main theme parks, but the "Plus" option has made us fall in love with the Water Parks. Not only do you get five park hopper days with your Salute tickets, but you get five days of water parks to be used all year. So for our family, that gives us ten days at the Disney parks.

Plus, it gives my family entrance to the following:

  • ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

  • Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course

  • Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course, prior to 4 p.m.

  • Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course, prior to 4 p.m.
