Location:
Cinderella's Royal Table is a unique and enchanting dining experience in the heart of Magic Kingdom Park. The restaurant is inside a medieval-style castle, a replica of the castle in the Disney movie Cinderella. The castle's interior is beautifully decorated, with stained glass windows, ornate chandeliers, and regal furnishings, all creating an ambiance that transports guests to an era of chivalry and romance, plus its Cinderella Castle, can we say Prince Charming.
To check in for Cinderella Royal Table, you need to head outside the castle. You can easily spot the sign hanging overhead, which will guide you towards the designated stand. A friendly cast member will be present at the stand to assist you with the check-in process. Make sure to arrive on time to avoid any delays and enjoy your dining experience at Cinderella's Royal Table.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by Cinderella herself in the castle's grand lobby. She welcomes guests and poses for photos. There waiting area is inside the grand lobby and you will find benches lining the walls. A cast member will call your last name when your table is ready and then escort you to the dining hall. The dining hall is located on the second floor and is accessible by a winding staircase that leads up from the lobby (there is also an elevator to access the 2nd floor.) The stairs & grand lobby are adorned with medieval-style tapestries, suits of armor, and other artifacts that add to the castle's ambiance.
Food:
The menu at Cinderella's Royal Table is small but there is something for everyone. If you have dietary needs, be sure to let the cast member know upon check-in. You cast member that is assigned to your table should ask as well. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including Filet, chicken, catch of the day, and vegetarian dishes, all of which are expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The food at Cinderella's Royal Table was delicious, but if you are expecting a high-end culinary experience for the price you pay, you might be disappointed. The main attraction of this restaurant is the opportunity to meet the five princesses and dine in the castle. While the food is good, it is not Michelin-star quality, so don't expect an exceptional meal especially since it cost $84 per adult. However, the breakfast is the best option as it's hard to go wrong with breakfast food and it is the cheapest price point.
The dessert selection at Cinderella's Royal Table is delightful, featuring options such as chocolate mousse, cheesecake, and coffee pot de Crème. Their signature dish - Cinderella's Slipper, has not returned since the pandemic, but the options are still delicious. Among the kids, the most popular choice is the decorate-your-own cupcake option. My family and I have been visiting the restaurant since 2018, and every time we order the decorate-your-own cupcake option for our kids, they always enjoy it.
Cinderella’s Royal Table is a 3 course prix-fixe lunch and dinner: One Appetizer, One entrée and One Dessert. Alcohol is not included in the price. If you have the Disney Dining Plan you get one alcoholic drink per meal.
Character Meet & Greets:
One of the most exciting aspects of Cinderella’s Royal Table is the opportunity to interact with so many princesses. Throughout the meal, guests are visited by various Disney princesses, each one taking the time to chat with guests and pose for photos. This magical experience provides an unforgettable opportunity for children and adults alike to meet their favorite princesses up close and personal. From Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Aurora and something Tiana every encounter is a chance to create lasting memories. We have going to this expereince since 2018 and I have only ever seen Tiana at Breakfast.
Overall Review:
I still feel a sense of joy when I think about my recent dining experience at Cinderella's Royal Table. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, we have visited Cinderella's Royal Table four times since January 2022. Although there were no princesses during one of my visits, we continued to go back tyring to capture the magic it once had. Even after the princesses returned it still did not feel the same until this last time. I can now say with 100% certainty that Cinderella's Royal Table is back and better than ever. It was a truly memorable experience that we paired with a visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. During dinner, the boys even commented on how nice the girls looked and wished they had dressed up too. We will definitely be returning in the future. Keep in mind character dining is typically 90 minutes and if you are in the castle for dinner you may have to stay through fireworks.
Cinderella's Royal Table is a must-visit for any Disney fan who loves princesses. The restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience, with top-notch ambiance, food, and character interaction. Reservations for this popular restaurant tend to book up quickly, so it's recommended to use dining alerts to secure your spot. My pro tip is to book CRT towards the end of your stay if you are staying on Disney property. We were there for eight days during our last visit in August 2023 and had dinner the last night. Doing this allowed us to pick times for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Cinderella's Royal Table. I'm sure you will enjoy your time here!
There are gifts that each person leaves the expereince with get a wishing star that is placed at their dining table. Children as able to pick from a sword or a wishing star wand before they leave the dinner as a parting gift (not pictured.)
