The Lyon's

How often do you go to Disney?: Only been 3 times total - once when I was a kid and twice with my own kids.

Trip Deets:
We went in July 2022 for 6 days. It was the 5 of us (kids age 13, 10, and 7) along with my parents.

The Best Part of Your Trip?: We loved that we stayed on resort. We stayed at the Coronado Springs Resort and absolutely loved it. The Disney transportation was so easy and convenient so made our trip much less stressful. We also loved our airport transportation, the Sunshine Flyer. SOOO easy, on time and stress-free travel! I was skeptical of not renting a car, but I can’t tell you how many times we said on our trip that we were so glad we did not! No stress about directions, getting to and from, etc. we just showed up at the bus stop and 95% of time didn’t have to wait! On the occasion we waited, it was at most 10 mins.

What Would You Do Different?: We would probably not do anything different. We did talk about if we ever go back that we would not go back to Magic Kingdom. Our kids weren’t into as much there. There were a few thrill rides we did multiple times and the firework show is impeccable. However, we would probably try out Epcot instead. Haven’t been there with the kids so want to check it out.

What is the Best Tip you got from Well Hello Disney?: Oh man - so many!! To name a few….the Sunshine Flyer, all the Disney Genie+ and ILL information (I was stressed about doing it right and making sure we would get the rides we wanted but your info document was SOO helpful), best fireworks viewing areas, things to pack for the parks, top eating locations (this is also stressful and your tips on how many reservations to do and what your favs are was so helpful). Thank you for all the tips!!

Give us Your Best Disney Tip!: I would actually say it’s a tip I learned from Well Hello Disney…..gauge your day on what your kids need - don’t push them past their limits just to get the most out of every day. If you meet their needs your time will be so much more enjoyable! They will get tired, hungry, upset, hot, etc. Be prepared to help them when they hit those times, even if it means leaving the park and coming back later. We always took an afternoon break to go back to the resort and rest/swim/chill. It was so nice to get a break from the sun and go back later to enjoy the parks again.

What was your most useful Platform on Well Hello Disney?: Instagram
