Here is an overview of all 8 areas at the Walt Disney World Resort. On top of these 8 area Walt Disney World has 26 resorts that are part of their Disney collection.

Magic Kingdom is 107 acres, with the park broken up into six different lands. Main Street, USA, Adventureland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Liberty Square. If you wanted to do each area of the park and experience everything each section had to offer, you would need at LEAST half a day in each land. Here you will find the classic 1971 Disney rides. Magic Kingdom has the most rides without a height restriction and is the best park for Genie+ as it has over 20 rides and attractions listed. If you want to skip Genie+, you can try to do it any day but the MK day!

Epcot is over 300 acres and three times the size of Magic Kingdom. Epcot is home to the World Showcase. With rides like Frozen Ever After, Remi's Ratatouille Adventure, and Guardian of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, it is also home to many new rides and classics like Soarin' Around the World, Mission Space, and Test Track. Epcot is also our favorite place to spot Princesses!! Over the last ten years, we have always seen more princesses at Epcot than anywhere else! And you do not want to miss Harmonious!

Hollywood Studios is home to Star Wars, Toy Story, Disney Jr., Indiana Jones, and more! It is one of the most popular parks because it has everything for the entire family. It is the smallest of all the parks, sometimes making it the most crowded. If you are on a tight budget and cannot afford to do Genie+ every day, I recommend doing it at this park, at least because it has some of the highest-demand rides at Walt Disney World.

Animal Kingdom comes in over 500 acres, is the largest park at Walt Disney, and is home to what our family considers the best ride in all of Disney, Pandora's Flight of Passage. Animal Kingdom opens and closes early, so I suggest this is your last day at the Parks. Then, you can get back to the room, pack, and get ready to head back home after your magical vacation. Animal Kingdom also has numerous activities making a park that can give you a well-rounded day. As the kids say, "Animal Kingdom is a vibe."

Typhoon Lagoon is one of my favorite Disney parks. The tidal wave pool at typhoon lagoon is one of the most intense pools I have ever experienced. I do not recommend littles in there without an adult holding them. You can actually SURF the wave. There are12 attractions and ten places to eat. There is also a souvenir shop and a supply shop at the entrance. Once we forgot swim diapers, and they had them. And the kiddie area is one of our favorites, with a mini lazy river for tubing. We had a park hopper plus which allowed us one day at the water parks without adding a day to our tickets.

Blizzard Beach, a snowstorm hit Florida, and everything melted except this one water park, now themed as a ski resort. It's home to one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling slides standing at 120 feet tall and 13 stories high. The wave pool is much calmer than Typhoon lagoons, and the kiddie area is outfitted with numerous age-appropriate slides. This park also has a wonderful intermediate area with activities for kids that are a little older than five but not quite ready to do the big rides.

Disney Springs is the dining, retail, and entertainment epicenter for Disney World. It has four specific neighborhoods, the landing, marketplace, west side, and town center, all built around bubbling springs. With over 150 businesses in this area, there is plenty to do. Like any Disney restaurant, you must secure a dining reservation, and those can be booked 60 days in advance. Disney Springs is a great place to go for dinner the first night of your trip before hitting the parks.

ESPN Sports Complex holds thousands of events each year. It s a state-of-the-art facility that can entertain over 60 spots. Those cheerleading competitions I came to are located here. There is a baseball stadium, softball diamond, track and football area, and more. Sometimes they host special events like the NBA experience as well. It's not a place we check out on every trip unless something is happening, but I am sure I will find myself back here with four active kids in the future.
