First Family Disney Vacation- November 2022

How often do you go to Disney?: First time with our daughter (almost 3), last trip was 2018

Trip Deets (Month, Length of Trip, Group Demographics): Last week of November 2022, 5 nights at Art of Animation Lion King Family suite, me & my husband, my almost 3 year old daughter, my mom. My 2 sisters stayed in a little mermaid room as well.

The Best Part of Your Trip?: The magic!! Seeing my daughter get so excited about meeting Mickey and all the characters. She loved the character breakfasts we did at Crystal Palace & Tusker House. The skyliner was a game changer and so much better than the buses, you can wheel stroller right on! Having family time at the most magical place on earth is priceless!

What Would You Do Different?: Get in line for Elsa & Anna meet and greet sooner. We were in line right when it opened and it still took an hour, and there isnt a genie+ option for it. That was our longest line. Genie + is a must do- even on low wait days it still saves a ton of time. Everything else about this trip was perfect, and even the long line wasn't bad- bring lots of coloring/stickers to play in line!

What is the Best Tip you got from Well Hello Disney?: Grocery delivery was a must do!! So easy and saves a ton of money and so convenient for snacks and drinks. Buy a bubble Wand ahead of time- saved so much and she loved it! (They sell extra bubbles refills in park too they weren't bad at like $2 a bottle). Genie+ guide is great, using a cell phone to count down the time at 0700 to book genie+ right when it strikes! Mouse dining is worth the money, got everything except Topolinos breakfast which seemed like the toughest one and looking back we had plenty of other great meals. Best tip is to just enjoy it and not pack too many things in, make sure your kid gets a nap if they need it!

Give us Your Best Disney Tip!: Go before Christmas, the magic is unbeatable and so special. I love all the trees and decorations. The weather was great too, not too hot 70s/low 80s and sunny all week, no rain! Don't wait, go before your child is 3- save money on a park ticket and just before 3 is a great age to go.

What was your most useful Platform on Well Hello Disney?: Instagram

Leave Well Hello Disney a review!: It's the best! Last disney trip I used a popular message board for advice but Jessica's tips for travel with kids are outstanding. Seriously thanks for all the amazing advice! ! Hoping to plan a disney cruise this summer or possibly another trip in Nov, well see!!

COMPLETELY OPTIONAL! We would love to hear how you saved money, your budget, and any programs you used to help reduce the cost of your trip:: Amazon prime grocery delivery for waters, snacks, some beers/hard seltzers for after baby went to bed! Didn't do park hoppers, would've been a lot with a toddler bouncing around. AoA may say a value resort but it is beautiful, & having the extra space of a suite and 2 bathrooms is worth every penny! The skyliner access is key, you get to HS and EP so fast. It's fun to take to Caribbean Beach & Riviera too, we stopped at both those pool bars for snacks/drinks. Memory maker is worth the money, We got so many amazing family photos!
